Exactly 400 years ago, in 1610, died Michelangelo Merisi called Caravaggio. To commemorate the great artist was organized Rome and Florence, a series of exhibitions, most notably "Caravaggio", held in the capital, at the Quirinal Stables (Via XXIV Maggio, 16).
For the occasion, the cooperative Pierreci Codess has developed a series of activities to discover the wonderfully illustrated by the seventeenth-century Rome. Of particular interest to the visitor is the Caravaggio Card, offering a ticket to the exhibition held in the Quirinal Stables with dedicated access; 110 Open a ticket valid for unlimited use for 24 hours audio support for the visit to churches that preserve the masterpieces of Caravaggio in Rome (St. Augustine's Church, Church of San Luigi de 'French Basilica di Santa Maria del Popolo); concessions and rebates to visit places of Caravaggio in Rome and exhibitions dedicated to him, reductions in services trade of the stables of the Quirinal and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
The card costs 20 € and is valid for the entire period of the Caravaggio exhibition from 20 February to 13 June 2010. The hours of the exhibition: Sunday through Thursday from 10 am to 20 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 to 22.
