These are the findings from research on the role of industry in economic development in Lazio conducted by SRM for Southern Studies and Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo. The region has counted 10.2 million tourist arrivals in 2010, and of these, 64.7% are foreign tourists, a figure well above the national average, which is 43%.
